Overview

Internet Enduring Material is sponsored and presented by Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford. 

A video-based workshop that is comprised of four separate sections. Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Program Perspectives, Student Perspectives, Preceptor Strategies, and a Tool Section. This workshop focuses on competence and skills that nurse practitioners and physician assistants need when serving as preceptors. The goal of the workshop is to encourage APPs to precept and to provide more support and education to allow them to feel successful doing so.

  5. Identify precepting strategies to use when delivering healthcare.

In support of improving patient care, Stanford Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Stanford Medicine designates this Enduring Material for a maximum of 1.75 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) - Enduring Materials
