Overview
The focus of this webinar is current guidelines for the evaluation of pediatric obesity and obesity-related co-morbidities as well as treatment plan development. Obesity is defined as a BMI at or above the 95th percentile for children and teens of the same age and sex. For the first time in 15 years, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) has updated its guidance on obesity in children, recommending a more proactive approach.
