Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners should be able to:

  1. Understand revisions and nuances to the MS diagnostic criteria to maximize early diagnosis while minimizing misdiagnosis
  2. Discuss the evolution of the MS treatment paradigm introducing the concept of neurologic reserve and exploring the evidence for early, optimal therapy
  3. Incorporate contemporary treatment approaches to initiating, monitoring and switching therapies balancing prognostic and safety considerations.
  4. Understand the unique characteristics and healthcare preferences of the millennial generation as they relate to MS
