Overview
This episode will address tele-guided pediatric point-of-care ultrasound and how it has advanced to improve access to care for patients and facilitated the engagement of healthcare clinicians who are located in different clinics/or high-level institutions. Topics discussed include the benefits of using this technology across the globe, the challenges and limitations it presents, the impact of COVID-19 on care, and a review of a pilot study underway to teach family practitioners in an area hard hit by the pandemic how to use this technology.
