This video is for all healthcare providers within the Stanford ENT department and other healthcare providers as well. The video provides learners an overview of the COVID-19 virus and its origins, as well as testing protocols and drive through processes currently in place for at Stanford Health. An update on reduction of all non-urgent surgeries was discussed and processes to determine urgent versus non-urgent were outlined. An overview of the drug Remdesivir, developed by Gilead to treat Ebola was provided. The proper use of putting on and removing PPE was discussed as well as tips on how to conserve N95 masks when evaluating patients, especially those with symptoms of COVID-19.  The session included Q&A at the end of the presentation to engage the learners and to allow for clarification of material covered.
