This presentation will summarize emerging evidence for the efficacy of GLP-1 receptor agonists for substance use disorders. Recent and ongoing Phase 2 clinical trials will be reviewed, and key clinical and implementation issues discussed.

1. Identify potential therapeutic benefits of GLP-1-based therapies for individuals with substance use disorder
2. Discuss common side effects and safety considerations for GLP-1-based therapies
3. List at least three GLP-1-based therapies currently under evaluation for substance use disorder.
