Overview

Care on the Spectrum: Advancing Clinical Science in Clinical Practice is a one-day, evidence-based educational program designed to equip healthcare professionals with practical strategies to improve outcomes for individuals with autism across the lifespan. This conference brings together clinicians, researchers, educators, and interdisciplinary care teams to explore contemporary approaches to pediatric, adolescent, transition-age, and adult autism care. Through a combination of didactic sessions, case-based discussions, and interactive learning, participants will examine advances in early identification and diagnosis, medical and behavioral management, mental health comorbidities, interdisciplinary care models, and equity-focused approaches to autism care. Select sessions will also highlight foundational and translational research—including genetics and neurogenetic disorders—emphasizing their clinical relevance and implications for practice. Designed for both generalists and specialists, this program emphasizes patient-centered, neurodiversity-affirming, and evidence-informed care that can be applied across diverse clinical and community settings.
