Overview
This series offers presentations by Stanford, national and international leaders on diverse topics related to psychiatry and behavioral sciences to maintain, develop, or increase the knowledge, skills, and professional performance and relationships provided to patients, the public, or the profession.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners should be able to:

  1. Present critical analysis of current practice patterns, updates from emerging research, and evidence based practice guidelines and translate these into clinical practice and improved quality of care.
  2. Develop treatment plans for patients diagnosed with mental health disorders integrating psychopharmacologic, psychotherapeutic, psychosocial and neuromodulatory interventions.
  3. Develop collaborative partnerships with leading experts from varying modalities of practice, specialties and professions with the goal of improving mental health awareness and services.

In support of improving patient care, Stanford Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
