Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners should be able to:

  1. Distinguish trigeminal neuralgia from other facial pain syndromes using clinical and imaging features
  2. Compare surgical and non-surgical treatment options based on patient characteristics and long-term outcomes
  3. Apply procedural strategies for MVD, rhizotomy, and radiosurgery with attention to recurrence and complications.
  4. Review emerging translational approaches to TN, including NRF2 modulation and oxidative stress pathways
