2025 Stanford Child Abuse Conference

The 2025 Stanford Child Abuse Conference aims to increase knowledge available to professionals working with children and families exposed to trauma and abuse. The conference will feature multi-disciplinary experts in the child abuse offering education on trauma-informed and evidence-based approaches to the screening and care of children exposed to abuse and neglect. Interactive presentations and case studies will help foster connections with peers in the field and off er practical strategies for implementing skills in clinical practice. The conference is appropriate for all professionals working with children and families that have experienced trauma and abuse, including physicians across all specialties, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, psychologists, mental health counselors, lawyers and law enforcement officers.

You will receive the Zoom information the week before the webinar. If you register within a week of the webinar, you will receive the Zoom information on Thursday, November 6th. All registrants will receive 30-day access to the webinar recording. 

Early Bird Rates:
Physicians - $85
Nurses, Allied Health Professionals, law enforcement, legal, non-profit, and other professionals: $60

Registration Rate After 10/9/25:
Physicians: $100
Nurses, Allied Health Professionals, law enforcement, legal, non-profit, and other professionals: $75

Registration fees may be paid by credit card - Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. Your email address is used for critical information, including registration confirmation, evaluation, and certificate. Be sure to include an email address that you check frequently.

STAP-eligible employees can use STAP funds towards the registration fees for this activity.  Complete the STAP Reimbursement Request Form and submit to your department administrator.

In support of improving patient care, Stanford Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

ASWB Approved Continuing Education Credit (ACE) – Social Work Credit 
As a Jointly Accredited Organization, Stanford Medicine is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. Social workers completing this activity receive 7 continuing education credits. 

American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA) - Live 
Stanford Medicine has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This live activity is designated for 7 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.  

American Psychological Association (APA) 
Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the co-sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The APA CEP Office maintains responsibility for the content of the programs. 

Cancellation Policy
Live Activities: Cancellations received in writing no less than 20 days before the course will be refunded. No refunds will be made on cancellations received after that date. Self-paced Activities: No refunds will be made on cancellation requests after a learner accesses any part of the course content. Any cancellations refunded will less a 20% administrative fee.
