Overview
This 4-hour virtual workshop will help participants learn more about how to identify and treat PTSD in people with psychosis using Written Exposure Therapy (WET). This is designed for frontline clinicians who work with individuals experiencing psychosis. Participants will learn about the overlap between trauma and psychosis, how to assess for the impact of trauma, and incorporate this information into treatment planning. They will learn how to implement WET with unique considerations for individuals with psychosis. This is not meant to be an exhaustive training in PTSD assessment and treatment, but rather, a first step towards using WET with people who have experienced psychosis.
