Monthly Case Conference Series in Women’s Sexual Dysfunction

THIS IS A DEPARTMENT OF OB/GYN AND PSYCHIATRY AND BEHAVIORAL SCIENCES ONLY ACTIVITY. This activity is a monthly case conference seminar series for clinicians who are actively assessing/treating patients in the SHC system for female sexual dysfunction disorders.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (1.00 hours), APA Continuing Education credits (1.00 hours), Non-Physician Participation Credit (1.00 hours)

1. Evaluate the most current research on best practices/state-of-the-art diagnostic practices for identifying and classifying women’s sexual dysfunction (vaginismus, dyspareunia, vulvodynia and anorgasmia).
2. Apply principles of critical thinking and problem solving, guided by the most current research, to practical and challenging cases in clinical practice.
3. Develop skills and competencies for clear, collaborative, interdisciplinary dialogue between gynecology/psychiatry-based clinicians to foster optimal care for the assessment and treatment of these cases.

In support of improving patient care, Stanford Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
