Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners should be able to:

  1. Review the choices of treatment with a massive rotator cuff tear
  2. Explain the difference between reverse total shoulder and anatomic total shoulder
  3. Describe the surgical treatment options for ankle arthritis- comparing and contrasting ankle fusion and total ankle arthroplasty
  4. Summarize indications, contraindications, and outcomes for total ankle replacement
  5. Discuss the importance of focusing on pre and peri-operative optimization for hip and knee replacement patients
  6. Evaluate the efficacy of GLP-1 receptor agonists in obesity management
  7. Examine the emerging role of combination therapy using bariatric surgery and obesity pharmacotherapy for treating patients with obesity.
