1. Understand advances in therapeutic endoscopy and approach to pancreaticobiliary disease
2. Integrate updates in chronic liver disease and liver transplantation into current management of patients
3. Review the most recent screening and surveillance protocols for gastrointestinal malignancy
4. Evaluate medical and surgical treatment approaches for gastroesophageal reflux and other esophageal disorders
5. Incorporate new diagnostics and therapeutics for management of inflammatory bowel disease
6. Describe changes in approach to small and large bowel disorders
7. Analyze the complaint of dysphagia and other symptoms of dysmotility with updated diagnostic and therapeutic frameworks

American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA) - Live 
Stanford Medicine has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This live activity is designated for 19 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.  

American Board of Internal Medicine MOC Credit 
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 19 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

 Learner writes a reflective statement on making a commitment to change or maintaining an element of practice. Validity of all written statements will be assessed prior to awarding credit.
