1. Assess potential pitfalls in emergency room management of orthopedic trauma cases, including recognition of critical conditions such as compartment syndrome and infection.
2. Review the latest evidence and clinical guidelines regarding periprosthetic fractures and develop strategies for effective management.
3. Evaluate innovative techniques in trauma-plasty and their application in certain injuries to enhance surgical outcomes
4. Develop comprehensive treatment plans for lower extremity fractures, integrating preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative strategies
5. Discuss case-based scenarios to illustrate decision-making processes and management strategies for on-call dilemmas and open fractures, reinforcing the application of evidence-based practice.

In support of improving patient care, Stanford Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
