Overview
The Stanford Optic Disc Drusen Symposium will provide an overview of clinical and scientific research on optic disc drusen, an optic neuropathy characterized by calcified deposits at the unmyelinated optic nerve. We will focus on disease mechanisms on ectopic calcification, neurobiology of the retinal ganglion cells and their axons (the optic nerve), and discussion of treatment and future clinical trials. We will also have expert panel discussions, patient discussion, and a poster session featuring Stanford optic nerve and retinal ganglion cell research (in person only).

For In person attendees: There will be food and drinks throughout the day and during the poster session in the afternoon. Please pickup meeting souvenirs at registration desk - they are first come, first serve.
Food. Breakfast includes a variety of breakfast burritos, danish, muffins, croissants, and drinks (coffee, tea, fruit flavored water). Lunch includes individually packaged boxes (vegetarian options available), alongside snacks, fruits, and dessert. Snacks and refreshments will be provided during breaks.
Poster session (non CME) will be accompanied by hors d'oeuvre appetizers and dessert. Please let us know if you have special food-related needs.
