This workshop will provide an introduction to Narrative Enhancement and Cognitive Therapy (NECT), a manualized group-based treatment addressing the effects of self-stigma on people diagnosed with psychosis and other mental health conditions. The training will provide an introduction to the origins, rationale, and research support for NECT, as well as an overview of the manual and its components, fidelity criteria, and video demonstrations of components of the manual.

1. Recognize key areas of recovery-related outcomes impacted by self-stigma.
2. Identify the key therapeutic components of Narrative Enhancement and Cognitive Therapy (NECT).
3. Apply and practice skills needed to conduct a NECT group.
