In this session, we bring together experts Dr. Ehsan Adeli, Assistant Professor (Research) of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University, Dr. Nicole Martinez, Assistant Professor at Stanford University and Dr. Kaustubh Supekar, Clinical Associate Professor, Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University, to discuss the innovative applications of AI in mental health care, focusing on AI's potential for diagnosis and treatment. They explore key innovations in ambient intelligence, AI-generated biomarkers, and AI therapy tools while addressing ethical issues such as bias, privacy, and equitable access. The session highlights the balance between technological advancements and the necessity of human compassion in mental health care, ensuring ethical and responsible AI integration.
