Ophthalmology Grand Rounds

This series offers weekly presentations on the advances in clinical and basic research in ophthalmology; new technology in the fast growing field of ocular imaging and surgery. In addition to discussion of cases that are challenging, complex, informative, or have diagnostic or management issues.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (1.00 hours), Non-Physician Participation Credit (1.00 hours)

1. Review and evaluate complex ophthalmic conditions, referencing emerging data from clinical research, expert opinions and updated guidelines to develop strategies for diagnosis and management.
2. Evaluate the latest innovations in ocular disease in order to improve diagnosis and treatment options for patients.
3. Identify areas of quality concern and develop strategies for improvement.

In support of improving patient care, Stanford Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
