Pediatric Gastroenterology Noon Lectures

The Pediatric Gastroenterology Fellow Noon Lecture series aims to enhance participants’ knowledge of diagnosis, treatment, and research advances for common gastrointestinal (GI) and liver disorders. Faculty and fellow experts will cover core topics such as liver failure, diarrhea, constipation, inflammatory bowel disease, and endoscopic techniques. Using an integrated educational approach that encompasses didactic lectures, case discussions, and research presentations, speakers will discuss recent advances in technology, research, diagnosis, guidelines and treatment strategies in gastrointestinal and liver diseases.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (1.00 hours), Non-Physician Participation Credit (1.00 hours)

1. Critically review current consensus guidelines and recent medical literature for common GI and liver disorders
2. Analyze patient safety, quality of care, and health disparities gaps for specific populations to guide improvements to care delivery. patient
3. Engage in discussion of best practices in both the delivery of clinical care and the education of providers who deliver clinical care.
4. Highlight emerging research in the subspecialty fields of pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition to promote the dissemination of new knowledge.
