Overview
This live online mini-conference will focus on the themes of inclusion and diversity within both clinical high risk and early psychosis care. This conference will bring together experts in the field to highlight the importance of ensuring inclusive and accessible early psychosis services, including adolescents who are at clinical high risk for psychosis. The conference will be pertinent for all individuals supporting young people who are at-risk of developing psychosis or experiencing early psychosis with clinically applicable tools and topics relevant to service development.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners should be able to:

  1. Articulate challenges in identifying youth who are at either clinical high risk or in the early stages of psychosis in both clinical and school settings.
  2. Summarize current research on successes and challenges in providing culturally responsive clinical high risk and early psychosis care for LGBTQI+ communities.
  3. Discuss some of the barriers to providing culturally responsive care as part of the Coordinated Specialty Care model
  4. Describe collaborative approaches to identifying tribal youth at clinical high risk for psychosis, or experiencing early psychosis and providing culturally responses care.

Accreditation

In support of improving patient care, Stanford Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
