This series presents late-breaking research & critical review of guidelines, with expert commentary by faculty, to provide knowledge & strategies and foster changes in practice & patient outcomes.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (1.00 hours), ABIM MOC Part 2 (1.00 hours), Non-Physician Participation Credit (1.00 hours)

1. Incorporate current guidelines with new clinical evidence to develop an appropriate management plan for patients with cardiovascular disease. Identify high risk patients who may need additional care/evaluation and initiate improvements to optimize patient care. Critically evaluate new clinical and basic science research related to cardiovascular medicine.

American Board of Internal Medicine MOC Credit 
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 1.00 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program.
