Presented by the Center for Health Education at Stanford University School of Medicine.  Over six weeks, the course offers extensive insights into telehealth implementation, delivery, and optimization. It begins by exploring the role of telehealth in the context of contemporary challenges, and the opportunities it presents in an evolving technological — and healthcare — landscape. You’ll examine common approaches to incorporating telehealth into your healthcare practice, including how to map the patient care journey and improve the patient experience. The course goes on to consider the organizational needs of telehealth solutions, including the management and training requirements for staff, as well as the billing, reimbursement, and legal factors. At the end of the course, you’ll undertake an investigation of accessibility and equity as it relates to telehealth; this includes an exploration of telehealth’s ability to simultaneously create and remove barriers, and how these issues can be confronted and overcome.

4. Successfully implement and optimize telehealth solutions.
