Overview

This presentation is a recording of a Stanford Pediatric Grand Rounds Session.  World-renowned experts will present the latest research, practice guidelines, and treatment protocols to advance best practices in the care of pediatric patients. These online recordings will provide pediatricians and family physicians with up-to-date clinical information on a wide range of clinical issues encountered in daily pediatric practice. This panel presentation describes the journey of implementing Health Equity Rounds (HER) as part of the Stanford Pediatrics HEAL (Health Equity Advanced through Learning) Initiative. The session summarizes the successes of implementing HER in the Department of Pediatrics and LPCH and spotlight the division of Neonatal & Developmental Medicine as a notable example of how to implement HER and subsequent health equity interventions. The panel concludes with a call to action on future work needed to improve health equity across our organization.
