Overview

The 14th Annual Clinical Excellence Summit will have a focus on advancing health equity at Stanford Medicine. This year’s virtual summit is open to the Stanford Medicine community including healthcare providers, hospital leadership and administrators, and School of Medicine staff. The keynote presentations will review the role an Academic Health Center has in promoting health equity and inspire participants to take concrete steps that will bring about change. Small Group Breakout sessions will enable participants to discuss concepts and develop strategies to enact structural change that advances health equity at Stanford Medicine. New this year is an online Health Equity Gallery Walk where we will showcase the breadth of Equity-related activities and initiatives here at Stanford Medicine.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners should be able to:

  1. Identify opportunities to operationalize strategies to advance health equity at Stanford Medicine.
  2. Raise awareness of current taskforces and initiatives advancing health equity at Stanford Medicine.
