Overview
The lecture is designed to improve healthcare professionals' understanding of oral medicine. It emphasizes the importance of early and accurate diagnosis, coupled with effective management of diseases that present with oral manifestations. Dr. Sahar Mirfarsi, DDS, a renowned expert in the field, will cover a range of topics, including the identification of common and rare oral pathologies, the integration of advanced diagnostic tools and techniques, and the implementation of evidence-based treatment strategies. Attendees will gain valuable knowledge aimed at improving diagnostic accuracy and optimizing patient outcomes.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners should be able to:

  1. Explain the integrated role of oral medicine specialists in medical and dental practices.
  2. Recognize barriers in access to care of clinical practice and find resources to address these barriers.
  3. Review a comprehensive approach to head and neck examination for detecting abnormalities.
  4. Review clinical cases to identify diseases with oral manifestations and discuss multidisciplinary management options.
