This workshop will delve into the cognitive challenges and negative symptoms experienced by individuals with psychosis, emphasizing their significance in the context of recovery and long-term prognosis. Participants will learn comprehensive assessment methods to evaluate these difficulties and how to utilize the assessment outcomes for effective intervention planning. The workshop will then focus on clinical strategies for working with individuals who exhibit cognitive challenges and negative symptoms. Learners will receive guidance on addressing therapy engagement and handling common issues that may arise. Additionally, the workshop will introduce specific therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Remediation, and provide insights into implementing therapy from a service-oriented perspective.
