Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Psychosis: A workshop in Formulation-driven and Skills-informed Approaches

This Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Psychosis (CBTp) training features a comprehensive 3-day workshop spread over 6 weeks, followed by 12 bi-weekly consultation sessions over 6 months. This structured program provides participants with a thorough understanding of the CBTp model and enhances their clinical skills through practical, hands-on experience. The training is designed specifically for frontline providers working with individuals experiencing psychosis, addressing needs that extend beyond traditional outpatient therapy settings. Participants will gain practical, CBTp-informed skills to effectively support and treat those with psychosis in various clinical environments.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (22.50 hours), APA Continuing Education credits (22.50 hours), ASWB Continuing Education (ACE) credits (22.50 hours), Non-Physician Participation Credit (22.50 hours)

1. Identify key components of the cognitive behavioral model.
2. Demonstrate skills for curious questioning in the context of CBTp/FIRST approach
3. Describe the 4Cs cognitive skill
4. State the relationship between trauma and psychosis
