Overview

The Native American Youth Mental Health ECHO is a collaborative speaker series to better support the mental health and wellbeing of Indigenous youth, their families and their care teams. This ECHO aims to strengthen community-defined mental health care for Native youth through knowledge sharing and mentorship.

The 2025 Native American Youth Mental Health ECHO Program will focus on promoting Native youth mental health within educational environments, community-Informed clinical approaches for Native youth, and community-Informed clinical approaches for Native youth. This series will provide guidance and collaborative learning about co-occurring conditions and insights and strategies for community-informed care. Behavioral health providers working with Native youth in diverse health care, and community, and school-based settings are encouraged to participate.

Schedule

Sessions will be held 12 - 1:30pm PST on:

January 30, 2025: Community Approaches to Supporting Native Youth in School Settings

February 13, 2025: Addressing Bullying and Building Resilience in Native Youth

March 13, 2025: Restorative Justice for Native Youth: Integrating Community Practices with Care

Due to recent changes in funding, we are transitioning from live ECHO sessions to offering asynchronous ECHO recordings. Thank you for your support and understanding.

Important Course Information

We are using two separate platforms for different aspects of the program: Cloud CME and iECHO. For your convenience, you have the option to use the same login credentials for both Cloud CME and iECHO, but please remember that the 2 platforms operate separately.

Cloud CME: Registration and Claim CME/CE
iECHO: Join an ECHO session & access course materials

Invitation and Account Setup:
After registering for the ECHO program on Cloud CME, you will receive an invitation via email to set up your iECHO account. Invitations are sent every 1-2 weeks. Please follow the link provided in the email to set up your account and gain access to the program.

Accessing the Session: 
*The Zoom link to join the session will be sent 1 hour prior to the start time

The webinar sessions will be conducted via Zoom through the iECHO platform. On the day of the session, you can join directly from iECHO. Log in to your iECHO account and navigate to the session. Alternatively, an email containing a direct Zoom link will be sent to you one hour before the scheduled start time of each session. This link will provide you with quick access to the Zoom meeting.

CME/CE: 
Information on how to claim credit will be provided during the session.

In support of improving patient care, Stanford Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team. 

Credit Designation 
American Medical Association (AMA) 
Stanford Medicine designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 18 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 

Accreditation Council of Pharmacy Education (ACPE) 
Stanford Medicine designates this knowledge-based activity for a maximum of 18 hours. Credit will be provided to NABP CPE Monitor within 60 days after the activity completion. UAN: JA0000751-0000-25-002-L04-P

American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) 
Stanford Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 18 ANCC contact hours.  

ASWB Approved Continuing Education Credit (ACE) – Social Work Credit 
As a Jointly Accredited Organization, Stanford Medicine is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. Social workers completing this activity receive 18 continuing education credits.

American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA) - Live 
Stanford Medicine has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This live activity is designated for 18 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.  

American Psychological Association (APA) 
Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the co-sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The APA CEP Office maintains responsibility for the content of the programs.
