The Teaching and Mentoring Academy's day-long conference focuses on tools for effective teaching and mentoring. This year’s theme, "The Learner and Educator Approach to Modern Health Professions Education: Building Bridges", focuses on the dynamic between cultural norms and traditional educational practices. Emphasizing the importance of bridging gaps and fostering mutual understanding between different perspectives, in areas like feedback, professionalism, professional identity, and self-care.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (4.00 hours), Non-Physician Participation Credit (4.00 hours)

1. Implement best practices related to diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, teaching, mentoring, and educational scholarship in day-to-day practice as a medical and bioscience educator.
2. Describe a variety of techniques and tricks for more effective delivery of educational content.

In support of improving patient care, Stanford Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
