Overview
In this episode, we speak with Dr. Leah S. Millheiser, MD, a Clinical Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stanford University. Our conversation will cover female sexual dysfunction, the broad range of symptoms, and how to best discuss these issues with patients. We will explore how peri-menopause and menopause impact sexual health, and treatment options including testosterone therapy, topical estrogen, vaginal dilators, sex and pelvic floor PT. We will also address hormone therapy's applicability to cancer survivors, discussing how it may be an option for some.
