Overview
Stanford in collaboration with Med-IQ presents this one hour workshop designed to improve clinician knowledge regarding disease symptoms to facilitate a timely referral/diagnosis, the unique characteristics/preferences shared by the millennial generation and its impact of MS care, and arm clinicians' ability to detect early signs of disease progression and apply the clinical evidence on available MS therapies are urgently needed.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners should be able to:

  1. Recognize the clinical presentation of MS to prompt rapid specialist referrals
  2. Review MS diagnostic criteria, red flags, and the consequences of misdiagnosis or delayed diagnosis on patient outcomes
  3. Discuss comorbidity management and strategies to maximize neurologic reserve
  4. Understand the unique characteristics and healthcare preferences of the millennial generation as they relate to MS
