This webinar will outline the strategies used during the COVID-19 lockdown phase to protect the operating room workforce. Discussion: Principles in lockdown phase of crisis. The various components will include: Maintain essentials, reduce waste, expand capacity, agile adaption, communicate, anticipate, empower teams, rethink resources, timely updates, avoid overwork, stress and fatigue and financial assessment. Having agile teams in the OR is very important, as it will lead to better resiliency and trust among members of the healthcare team.
