Overview
A Premier Educational Experience in the Heart of Wine Country Join us in the beautiful and serene setting of wine country for the 5th Annual Updates in Gastroenterology and Hepatology—a dynamic and engaging course designed to bring you the latest advances in the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal and liver disorders. The program incorporates cutting-edge medical education with the opportunity to unwind amidst vineyards, rolling hills, and exceptional hospitality. Tailored for gastroenterologists, hepatologists, primary care physicians, internists, family practitioners, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nurses, this comprehensive one-day course offers evidence-based updates in a picturesque, retreat-like atmosphere perfect for learning and professional connection. The course focuses on delivering important updates to help healthcare professionals stay informed and provide optimal care to patients with gastrointestinal issues. Participants will learn practical strategies and diagnostic approaches for various conditions such as esophageal disease, motility disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, pancreaticobiliary disease, cancer screening, liver disorders, and abdominal pain. The educational approach includes lectures, Q&A sessions, debates, and informal discussions covering technology, research, diagnosis, guidelines, and treatment strategies. The course also offers opportunities for participants to interact with Stanford faculty members, engage with expert speakers, and build connections during sessions and breaks.
