Overview
The School-based Mental Health ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) project, a collaboration between the Stanford Center for Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing and various school and community partners across California, seeks to enhance the understanding and treatment of pediatric mental health disorders in school environments. This initiative aims to: Improve knowledge of best practices related to school-based mental health. Foster professional connections among healthcare providers and school professionals. Provide clinical guidance to enhance youth mental health within educational settings. Through this collaborative effort, the project aspires to create a supportive network that equips school personnel with the skills and resources necessary to address and manage mental health challenges among students effectively.

Note: Health professionals, school educators, administrators, and mental health workers, along with community organization staff, are invited to participate in the School-based Mental Health ECHO series.

Important Course Information

We are using two separate platforms for different aspects of the program: Cloud CME and iECHO. For your convenience, you have the option to use the same login credentials for both Cloud CME and iECHO, but please remember that the 2 platforms operate separately.

Cloud CME: Registration and Claim CME/CE

iECHO: Join an ECHO session

Invitation and Account Setup:

After registering for the ECHO program on Cloud CME, you will receive an invitation via email to set up your iECHO account. Invitations are sent every 1-2 weeks. Follow the link provided in the email to set up your account and gain access to the program. Please note - If you register the day-of an ECHO session, you will not be able to join the session that day, and will be added to the next month's roster.

Accessing the Session:

You must setup your iECHO account outlined above in order to join a session.

The Zoom link to join the session will be sent 1 hour prior to the start time.

The webinar sessions will be conducted via Zoom through the iECHO platform. On the day of the session, you can join directly from iECHO. Log in to your iECHO account and navigate to the session. Alternatively, an email containing a direct Zoom link will be sent to you one hour before the scheduled start time of each session. This link will provide you with quick access to the Zoom meeting.

Claiming Credit
A link and QR code will be shown during the session where you can complete a short evaluation and claim credit. CME is only available for attending the live sessions.

In support of improving patient care, Stanford Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team. 

Credit Designation 
American Medical Association (AMA) 
Stanford Medicine designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 10 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 

American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) 
Stanford Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 10 ANCC contact hours.  

ASWB Approved Continuing Education Credit (ACE) – Social Work Credit 
As a Jointly Accredited Organization, Stanford Medicine is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. Social workers completing this activity receive 10 continuing education credits.

American Psychological Association (APA) 
Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the co-sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The APA CEP Office maintains responsibly for the content of the programs.
