Infectious Diseases Grand Rounds

This series presents the latest practice guidelines and cutting-edge research in infectious diseases. Lectures focus on the diagnoses, management, and treatment of complex infections and laboratory, field, computational, and epidemiologic research results and methodology.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (1.00 hours), Non-Physician Participation Credit (1.00 hours)

1. Identify and utilize best evidence and updated practice guidelines for the optimal treatment and management of patients with infectious diseases.
2. Evaluate new discoveries in science and their applications to the care of patients with infections.
3. Assess and describe factors that will impact the scope and spread of infectious pathogens.

In support of improving patient care, Stanford Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

American Board of Internal Medicine MOC Credit 
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 1.00 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program.
