Overview
Join us in Honolulu, Hawai‘i, for the Gender Journeys Day Conference on gender-affirming for keiki (youth) with sessions for healthcare professionals, families, and keiki. Healthcare professional sessions will teach providers how to best serve gender diverse keiki, containing didactic components and offering continuing education credits. The goal of Gender Journeys Day is to educate participants and increase the understanding of gender-affirming care for keiki while building a community of local providers and support.

In support of improving patient care, Stanford Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team. 

Credit Designation 
American Medical Association (AMA) 
Stanford Medicine designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 5.50 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 

Accreditation Council of Pharmacy Education (ACPE) 
Stanford Medicine designates this knowledge-based activity for a maximum of 5.50 hours. Credit will be provided to NABP CPE Monitor within 60 days after the activity completion. UAN: JA0000751-0000-26-010-L01-P

American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) 
Stanford Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 5.50 ANCC contact hours.  

ASWB Approved Continuing Education Credit (ACE) – Social Work Credit 
As a Jointly Accredited Organization, Stanford Medicine is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. Social workers completing this activity receive 5.50 general continuing education credits. 

American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA) - Live 
Stanford Medicine has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This live activity is designated for 5.50 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.  

American Psychological Association (APA) 
Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the co-sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The APA CEP Office maintains responsibility for the content of the programs. 

American Board of Internal Medicine MOC Credit 
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 5.50 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

American Board of Pediatrics MOC Credit 
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the learner to earn up to 5.50 MOC points in the American Board of Pediatrics’ (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit learner completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABP MOC credit. 

MOC Participation Threshold

Step 1: Learner completes the conference evaluation and claims credit for the session in Stanford’s CME portal here within 30 days after the activity.

Step 2: Learner writes a reflective write a reflective statement on making a commitment to change or maintaining an element of practice by August 11, 2026. Validity of all written statements will be assessed prior to awarding credit.
