Overview
The International Symposium on aß T-cell/CD19 B-cell Depleted Haploidentical Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT) is a two-day educational program designed to bring together leading clinicians, scientists, and translational researchers working in the fields of leukemia, bone marrow failure syndromes, cellular therapy, viral immunology, and novel transplant immunobiology. This activity highlights recent advances in aß T-cell/CD19 B-cell depleted haploidentical HSCT, explores emerging research shaping next-generation graft engineering, and provides practical clinical updates for managing transplant recipients across a wide range of disease indications.

Credits
AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (12.25 hours), ANCC Contact Hours (12.25 hours), CA BRN - California Board of Registered Nurses Contact Hours (12.25 hours), Non-Physician Participation Credit (12.25 hours)

Target Audience
Specialties - Allergy & Immunology, Allergy, Immunology, & Rheumatology, Allergy, Immunology, and Rheumatology, Hematology, Hematology, Hematology, Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, Nephrology, Oncology, Oncology, Pediatrics, Rheumatology, Transplant
Professions - Advance Practice Nurse (APN), Fellow/Resident, Non-Physician, Nurse, Physician, Registered Nurse (RN)

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners should be able to:

  1. Describe current evidence and emerging strategies for optimizing aß T-cell–depleted haploidentical HSCT in patients with leukemia and rare congenital disorders.
  2. Evaluate approaches to combine HSCT with adoptive cell therapies to reduce relapse and improve long-term disease control.
  3. Analyze novel graft manipulation strategies that enhance immune reconstitution while minimizing GVHD and treatment-related toxicity.
  4. Identify methods to tailor conditioning regimens to reduce morbidity and mortality in medically fragile and high-risk populations.
  5. Apply evidence-based strategies to promote immune tolerance, prevent graft rejection, and improve patient outcomes in diverse clinical settings.
