Overview
The Stanford Physician Leadership Certificate program is a 6-month cohort-based foundational learning experience. The program provides participants with an evidence-based framework for personal growth, key management and leadership skills, and deep connection with peers. The program utilizes cases and simulations, plus peer and professional coaching that altogether provide a holistic support for the participants to understand, practice and cultivate effective interpersonal, management, and leadership skills. Participants complete several psychometric tools that shed light on personal competencies and facilitate each participant’s leadership development plan.

Registration

Registration is invitation-only for accepted applicants. Program Fee includes live virtual sessions, on-demand modules, professional coaching sessions, and psychometric assessments.

Rates and Deadlines:

Applications Open: October 1  (Opening Soon)

Early Bird Application Rate: $6,250 — Apply by October 20

Standard Application Deadline: $6,750 — Apply by November 17

Institution Sponsorship Rate: $6,000 per person (minimum of 3 participants from the same Institution) — Apply by November 17

          Payment Due - January 12

Accreditation

In support of improving patient care, Stanford Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team. 

Credit Designation 
American Medical Association (AMA) 
Stanford Medicine designates this Other Activity (synchronous and asynchronous) for a maximum of 34.25 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

ACHE Qualified Education
Stanford Medicine is authorized to award pre-approved ACHE Qualified Education credit for programs toward advancement or recertification in the American College of Healthcare Executives. Participants in select programs wishing to have the continuing education hours applied toward ACHE Qualified Education credit must self-report their participation.  To self-report ACHE activities, log into your MyACHE account and select ACHE Qualified Education Credit.

American Board of Anesthesia MOC Credit 
This activity contributes to the CME component of the American Board of Anesthesiology’s redesigned Maintenance of Certification in AnesthesiologyTM (MOCA®) program, known as MOCA 2.0®. Please consult the ABA website, www.theABA.org, for a list of all MOCA 2.0 requirements. 

American Board of Internal Medicine MOC Credit 
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 34.25 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

American Board of Pathology MOC Credit
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 34.25 Lifelong Learning MOC points in the American Board of Pathology’s (ABPath) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABPath MOC credit.

American Board of Pediatrics MOC Credit 
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the learner to earn up to 34.25 MOC points in the American Board of Pediatrics’ (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit learner completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABP MOC credit.

American Board of Surgery MOC/CC Credit 
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the learner to earn credit toward the CME and Self-Assessment requirements of the American Board of Surgery’s Continuous Certification program. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit learner completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABS credit.

Cancellations received in writing no less than 20 days before the course will be refunded, less a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be made on cancellations received after that date. Please send cancellation requests to [email protected].
