Stanford Symposium on AI Medicine: Applications in Oncology, Image-guided Interventions, and Beyond

This symposium will focus on current topics in AI Medicine, with an emphasis on applications of foundation models, generative models, agentic AI in oncology and image-guided interventions. It is designed to provide attendees with unique opportunities to engage with state-of-the-art AI techniques directly impacting healthcare and biomedicine. The program will feature presentations from leaders and innovators in the field. Furthermore, representatives from leading industrial companies will also be on-site, offering valuable perspectives on technological advancements and collaborations.

Both events will be held at Simonyi Conference Center, 389 Jane Stanford Way, Stanford, CA 94305. Trainees (graduate students/residents/postdocs) will receive a 25% discount in registration fees.

1. Describe key applications of artificial intelligence in oncology, including diagnostic imaging, treatment planning, and patient monitoring.
2. Evaluate the current limitations and ethical considerations surrounding the use of AI in cancer care.
3. Assess how emerging AI technologies can be integrated into clinical workflows to enhance decision-making.
