Overview
The LMICs Free Radiology Webinar Series launched in January 2025 as a collaboration between Stanford University School of Medicine and the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital to address educational gaps among radiology professionals in low- to middle-income countries across Africa. Running from January 27 to September 30, 2025, the series features nine lectures on a range of radiology topics, all delivered by Stanford faculty. Designed to be engaging and accessible, the series aims to enhance clinical knowledge, support professional development, and foster an international community of radiologists and medical professionals across the continent. This activity offers an in-depth exploration of the RUSHED exam, a rapid POCUS protocol used to evaluate shock. Learners will identify appropriate patients, review the components of the exam, recognize key pathologies, and correlate findings with shock types to support timely, targeted clinical decision-making in emergency and critical care settings.
