Overview
In this comprehensive 75-minute webinar, Grace Gengoux, PhD, and Maria Jimenez Muñoz, PhD, will provide an in-depth exploration of current approaches to treating autism in pediatric patients. This webinar is designed to help medical professionals understand how to identify early signs of autism spectrum disorder, how to support parents in navigating service delivery systems, and how to identify high-quality strengths-based treatment approaches for accelerating learning in children with developmental delays. The treatment techniques described are informed by the growing science behind naturalistic developmental behavioral interventions for children with autism spectrum disorder. Practical strategies will be shared for improving communication, motivating young children to engage in appropriate behavior during daily activities, and supporting positive peer relationships.
