The Office of Faculty Development and Diversity is hosting a faculty webinar with the Health Equity Action Leadership (HEAL) Network and the Stanford Center for Continuing Medical Education (CME) to highlight Health Equity. Join us to increase awareness about Artificial Intelligence and Health Equity.

Our speaker, Tina Hernandez-Boussard, PhD MPH, MS, FACMI, is an Associate Dean of Research and Professor of Medicine (Biomedical Informatics), Biomedical Data Sciences, Surgery and Epidemiology & Population Health (by courtesy) at Stanford University.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners should be able to:

  1. Examine the interplay between Artificial Intelligence and how it relates to Health Equity.
  2. Assess the ethical implications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare and its potential impact on health equity.
  3. Develop strategies to evaluate and implement AI tools responsibly, ensuring they address disparities and promote equitable outcomes in diverse healthcare settings.
