Orthopaedic Surgery Grand rounds presentations are designed to identify, examine and address controversial areas in orthopaedic surgery. In addition to provide updates on current knowledge in any sub-specialty areas and evidence based approaches to clinical problems.

Objective(s): 1 Identify rates of post-operative surgical complications and incorporate best practices to lower these complication rates. 2 Recognize changes to surgical indications and apply these to orthopaedic surgery. 3 Evaluate new surgical techniques and implants and apply these to the care of orthopaedic patients. 4 Utilize patient outcome tools to identify patient health outcomes and apply strategies that provide optimal surgical care.
