THIS IS A STANFORD, DEPARTMENT OF MEDICINE, DIVISION OF CARDIOVASCULAR MEDICINE & CARDIOVASCULAR INSTITUTE ONLY ACTIVITY. The Fowler Advanced Heart Failure Conference, held weekly by the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, is a dynamic forum for discussing complex cases from both hospital and clinic settings. This conference brings together expert opinions from a multidisciplinary team, including cardiologists with various subspecialties, cardiac surgeons, and cardiovascular radiologists. It features highly interactive discussions on live cases, directly influencing patient care through an evidence-based approach. This format not only enhances clinical decision-making but also serves as an invaluable educational resource for healthcare providers and trainees, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-rich environment.

Objective(s): 1 Demonstrate enhanced knowledge and application of up-to-date clinical guidelines in the management and treatment of heart failure patients. 2 Accurately diagnose complex heart failure cases by integrating insights gained from detailed case studies and evidence-based practices. 3 Effectively communicate and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for heart failure patients.

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 1.00 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program.
