SURGERY M&M IS A HIPAA RESTRICTED, STANFORD DEPARTMENT OF SURGERY-ONLY ACTIVITY In order to improve patient outcomes, this group based series discusses strategies related to complications and mortalities that occur in general surgery.

Objective(s): 1 Analyze the root causes of adverse events. 2 Develop strategies to prevent untoward events in the future. 3 Identify system issues and improvements that will lead to improved outcomes for patients.
