This lecture will explore the pivotal role of maxillofacial imaging techniques in identifying and uncovering underlying systemic pathologies from a cross-disciplinary perspective. Setareh Lavasani, DDS, MS will explore how radiographic imaging of the maxillofacial region can provide valuable insights into systemic health issues, enabling early detection and comprehensive patient care.

1. Describe the connection between maxillofacial imaging and systemic pathologies.
2. Evaluate the benefits and limitations of using maxillofacial imaging as a diagnostic tool for identifying underlying systemic conditions.
3. Interpret and analyze maxillofacial radiographic images in the context of systemic health.
4. Explore collaborative strategies for incorporating maxillofacial imaging into a multi-disciplinary healthcare team with effective communication and coordination.
