Overview
In this 2nd Annual Big Ideas in Medicine Conference, four theme areas were selected by a committee of Stanford faculty. This event includes multidisciplinary thought leaders from science, business, journalism, and policy in discussion and dissection of some of the most pressing issues facing medicine in our time. Theme of the conference this year is Healthcare Delivery, with subthemes: AI and Digital Health, Early Diagnostics, Primary Care, and Mental Health. Each subtheme will feature four speakers giving a ~30 minute talk on a transformational Big Idea followed by a conversation with the speaker. The speakers from each subtheme will then join a panel at the end of each session for an open discussion. The conference will be informative and engaging for researchers, physicians, business executives, policymakers, non-profit leaders, students, patients and advocates, and other community members.
