  2. Demonstrate ethical decision making in treatment of patients with cardiac disease.
  3. Describe how to address end of life, palliative, and bereavement needs of patients and parents.
  4. Describe the psychosocial needs of pediatric patients with cardiac disease.
  5. Support the well-being of pediatric palliative patients and their families.

American Psychological Association (APA) 
Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the co-sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The APA CEP Office maintains responsibility for the content of the programs.

Stanford Health Care Department of Rehabilitation is an approved provider for physical therapy and occupational therapy for courses that meet the requirements set forth by the respective California Boards. This course is approved for 7.25 hour(s) CEU for PT and OT.

American Board of Pediatrics MOC Credit 
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the learner to earn up to 7.25 MOC points in the American Board of Pediatrics’ (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit learner completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABP MOC credit.
