Overview

The objective of this summit is to bridge connections between stakeholders to engage in thought-provoking and meaningful discussion that addresses the current lack of diversity in clinical trials. Through these synergies, we aim to propose effective and innovative recommendations that can improve the enrollment of underrepresented participant populations and advance the science of diversity in clinical trials.

In this video, panelists at the Stanford Think Tank on Diversity and Health Equity in Clinical Trials share their expertise on improving healthcare research through diversity and inclusion. We bring together insightful discussions from our expert panel on various aspects of promoting diversity and health equity in clinical trials.

PANELISTS: Andra Blomkalns, MD | Moderator

Ruth O'Hara, PhD

Harriet Van Spall, MD, MPH

Keith Norris, MD
